Remember breaking the tab on a video so no one could tape over your copy of say, Heinz and Keisha Kershausen? And then putting a piece of Scotch tape over the hole so you could magically record on the tape again? Oh, VHS.
Kristen! I completely forgot about that. Oh, and carefully placing those specially cut labels on the tops and sides of the tapes (it drove me nuts if they were crooked) and then labeling them? And, horror of horrors, if the VCR ate your tape, you could maybe wind it back in, but the the kinked part would make the movie play funny on that one scene.
