So much great stuff last night! It was the night of cool character revelations. Don has roots in PA coal country? Peggy wants to smoke weed? Pete and Judy can Charleston? Joan plays the accordion? I thought I knew these people.
Oh, yes I remembered her from Firefly. She was awesome then and she's awesomer now. (She also guested on Life because, fabulously, they hired an inordinate number of redheads--another reason to love that show.)
James, you will not be disappointed. Mad Men is the most gorgeously art-directed and lit show on TV, and now that Pushing Daisies is gone (sniffle), it is the most aesthetically beautiful show as well.
I was surprised and pleased about Don and his Pennsylvania roots. I was flabbergasted by Joan's accordion and singing prowess, especially in French (probably dubbed). But I was really floored when the least likable character on the show did the Charleston with his wife. I almost decided to like him. Almost.
Confession! Sometimes I really like Pete. I submit that he is often both very sympathetic and horrendously revolting at the same time. In this, Vincent Kartheiser dazzles me.
I am a big proponent of the Oxford comma, I hate when people say "I could care less" when they actually mean "I couldn't care less", I think people who live in the southern hemisphere are tragic because their Christmas comes in the summer.

Did you know that the red head was in two episodes of firefly?
I've only watched three episodes (someone told me the lighting on the show was awesome), but I'm hooked. Now to netflix and catch up.
