I had no idea that you watched that show!
I only just started this year. I'm really enjoying it. Kat Deeley is a wonderful host and Nigel makes me laugh. That Mary woman on the judge's panel is so wretchedly shrill that I have to fastforward all of her comments.
Also, if you only watch the dancing, it usually only takes about 20 minutes to watch the show. I like that.
That's a shame season 4 and season 5 were awesome. But this year the entire show went up a notch. I think Mary being shrill is an act to get people to watch. It was a summer show till this season.
Mary being shrill is supposed to bring IN the audience? Really? Because it almost drove me away. I can't stand her voice and she reminds me of Marie Osmond, in the creepiest of ways.
The show must have done really well if they moved it to the Fall lineup. I'm loving it.
They needed a Paula Abdul imitator to pull in people. Also I hate that Adam Shankman is the perm 3rd judge. I liked the rotating 3rd judge better. You'd get Little C, Tabatha and Napoleon, The woman from FAME....
Send me a hard drive and I'll give you all the seasons except for 1 and most of 2. I don't have 1 and I'm running out of Hard drive space for the rest.
Apparently they're going to have the real Paula on sometime. I think her, combined with Mary, might cause some sort of rift in the fabric of the universe. Too much perky shrillness and insincere niceness all in one place.
And I agree about Adam. He's cool in small doses, but I hate how he cries like a little girl when he finds a dance to be moving.

Russel won.....lamest final episode of SYTYCD EVER! A Highlight real? REALLY?
I loved how the judges picked their favorite routines; I just wish someone had chosen my favorite, which was the one where Legacy portrayed Fear and danced with Kathryn. Their partnership was, by far, my favorite.
I was happy that my two initial favorites made the top 4. I would have rather seen Ellenore or Kathryn win (Kathryn really ended up stealing the show, I thought) but Russell was wonderful. I don't think Ashleigh belonged in the top 6. I thought her partners carried her in most dances.
