Tonight our darling Alexa will be taking the stage as the lead in UPJ's new play. I'm so excited for her. I remember when she was a little baby, and now she's in college and taking the stage by storm. And yet I haven't aged a day...
We're going to crowd the first row of the theater and cheer really loud and heap roses on her.

Her mother is a nervous wreck - she, not so much! Have fun at the show. I'm going Saturday. I realize not being there on opening night makes me a bad mother... (guilt!)
No one would ever be foolish enough to accuse you of being a bad mom. I'm just sad we won't get to see you and Shawn and Mags tonight. We'll cheer extra loud.
