Final Cake

I had my last cake class last night and I must say I'm happy to be done. I'm tired of all this baking, and by the time I leave class I feel like I'm covered in sugary frosting. But it was fun and I learned a lot, like how to pipe borders and make drop flowers. I also learned that I'm terrible at ribbon roses, but I've made peace with that.

Jules was delighted to see her name on a cake and exclaimed, "It's my cake. Can I taste some icing?" So I let her sticker fingers in it because I can deny her nothing.
